I Am Now The Proud Owner Of A Denman D1!

I have heard about this brush so much in the natural hair community that I decided to finally break down and get one. The most popular Denman brush is the D3 but I have seen a lot of youtube vids about how the bristles are too hard and it can rip your hair out so I decided to go with the D1 which is made for thinning hair so the bristles are soft, and I figured if I find that this brush takes more hair out than I normaly loose I can modify it by removeing some of the rows of teeth. I LOVE THIS BRUSH! It detangles my hair well, massages my scalp, helps destribute whatever product Im useing through my hair well, and defines my curls like no other. You can purchase this brush either at your local Sally's, http://www.denman.com/ , or order it off ebay like I did. I paid a little over $10 for it off ebay including shipping which is about how much it cost in Sally's.

My Afroveda Products Finally Arrived! (I previously tried some products from afroveda after winning them in a youtube contest)

Finally got my order of Afroveda Products This is the Totally Twisted Ginger Almond Butter. The smell is a essential oil blend of Lemon, Lavender, Bitter Almond, and Ginger. This is a 16oz The website to order these products is http://www.afroveda.com/
Thats what it looks like

Pur Whipped Hair Gelly. The smell is devine! It is Vanilla Essential Oil. When you use this and the Totally Twisted Ginger Almond Butter together the smell they create combine is GREAT!

It is very Gelly like Hence the name lol

Shea Amla Whipped Butter Cream. At first I was not to fond of the scent Frankincense and Myrrh but it grew on me and now I like it. I am still testing this product out on my hair but my review will soon be up on my blog of all these products.

Cocolatte Moisture Mask. This smells like fake Chocolate like how those chocolate scented chap sticks smell but I like the smell and product. It says it gets its coco smell from Shea Butter but I don't think so because Shea Butter does not smell like this product. But it does have Shea Butter in it. It is really moisturizing.
This is the sample size. You get a free sample with your order. I will be repurchasing this product in the 16oz

On the Left is the Totally Twisted Ginger Almond Butter, the middle is the same product, right is the Shea Amla Whipped Butter Cream. The TTGAB in the middle is the one I won and the TTGAB on the left is the one I bought. They look and feel totally diffrent The TTGAB in the middle has more of the same consitancy of the SAWBC but both the TTGAB have the same ingrediants.

Heat Damage Outcome And Accessorys

In my last post I was telling you about my heat damage well I still have it is just not as noticable now. Now I only have a few straight peices here and there. My new growth is starting to come in so I have the same look in some areas around my head as I did when I was growing my hair out but thats ok I will just continue to let the damage grow out rather than cut it off. I think I have cut my hair off enough as it is lol. Well I am finally starting to get into the accessory game, I went to my local flea market and picked up a few things for only a dollar each. I got some cute earrings, a ring, a hair bow, and some some sun glasses. I love how cheap everything was because I am a stay at home mom of three and we are a one income fam so of course my kids come first and with whatever is left over I can "splurge" and get some stuff for myself which is never a lot. So anyway here are some pics of the stuff I got and I will follow it up with some pics of how my hair is looking now.
